Aging Process: This expression is aged in oak barrels for an extended period of two and a half to three years, allowing it to develop rich and complex flavors from the wood.
Charcoal Filtration: After the aging process, Chinaco Añejo is meticulously filtered using activated charcoal. This filtration method helps retain the tequila's intricate flavors while imparting a smooth and crystal-clear appearance.
Production Consistency: Chinaco has maintained its traditional production process since its inception. This includes roasting ripe agave hearts in autoclaves at low temperatures for 24 hours, followed by pressing and shredding in an old molino.
Natural Fermentation: Fermentation occurs in steel tanks using Chinaco's signature natural yeast strains. The aguamiel (agave juice) ferments for a duration of 72 hours, contributing to the tequila's unique character.
Distillation: Chinaco Añejo Cristalino is distilled in two copper-lined alembic stills, ensuring a precise and controlled distillation process.
Purity Assurance: Chinaco Tequila maintains its commitment to pure and unadulterated tequila. No caramel coloring, oak extract, glycerin, or sugar is added during production.
