The Clos de Malte Rouge is a sophisticated offering from the Louis Jadot monopole vineyard in Santenay, nestled in the southern Côte de Beaune. The 17-acre vineyard, situated at the base of the Montagne des Trois Croix, benefits from a unique terroir of limestone and clay-rich soils, ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir. A touch of Chardonnay is also grown here, but this particular vintage focuses on Pinot Noir. After meticulous vinification, including fermentation in tanks for up to four weeks, the wine matures in oak barrels for 12 months, ensuring complexity and elegance.
