The 2006 is a blend of 91.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7.5% Merlot, 0.5% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petit Verdot. The season started well in Pauillac, then turned cool and rainy in August and late September, so strict sorting decided quality, and Latour kept just 38% of its crop for the Grand Vin. The estate held the wine back and released it from its own cellars in 2018, once it had begun to open. Wine Advocate (95 points) calls it \"an incredibly impressive grand vin, which is drinking beautifully now,\" and suggests drinking it through 2038; Wine Spectator also rated it 95 points. 13.0% ABV, 750ml.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Chateau Latour","offers":[{"title":"750 ML","offer_id":67774146937019,"sku":"912566 SG","price":924.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0634\/4867\/8587\/files\/chateau-latour-pauillac-2006-with-wood-box-1-1792539021963.jpg?v=1792539023","url":"https:\/\/liquorgeeks.com\/products\/chateau-latour-pauillac-2006","provider":"Liquor Geeks","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
