Few houses declared the vintage, but Dom Pérignon did, and picking early proved the winning decision. Wine Spectator (96 points) calls it \"finely detailed in texture,\" with strawberry pâte de fruit, biscotti, anise and ginger over vivid acidity and a \"long, echoing finish.\" The Wine Advocate's David Schildknecht (94 points) praises its richness and robustness, which never comes off as heavy.
