The 2021 blends 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 2% Malbec from Three Palms, Rector Creek, Stout, Cork Tree, Monitor Ledge and Patzimaro vineyards, aged 24 months, the first 18 in new French oak. Red currant, black raspberry, fig compote and rose petal lead, and long barrel time adds toasted hazelnut, cocoa powder and nutmeg to a velvety palate built for aging. Scored 95 by James Suckling.
