Throughout six generations, the Camarena family has been unwavering in their commitment to preserving the precious resources of this significant region. They have practiced sustainable farming techniques and taken a forward-thinking approach to cultivating quality agave. Notably, the family's distillery engineers have devised an innovative system to recycle vinazas, the organic residue generated during careful distillation in Tequila production. These vinazas are repurposed to enrich the agave fields with organic material, yeast, and sugar, contributing to the sustainability and ecological harmony of the Los Altos Highlands region.
