These prized agave plants undergo a traditional process that includes slow cooking in brick ovens, open fermentation, and double distillation in traditional "alambique" stills constructed from stainless steel and copper in the heart of Tequila, Mexico. After this meticulous distillation process, the tequila embarks on an aging journey in Cutwater whiskey barrels. The result is a Reposado tequila that masterfully blends the rich flavors of cooked agave with delicate hints of vanilla and oak, creating a distinctly Cutwater Tequila Reposado.
