The Very Venerated Cognac Delamain Grande Champagne COLOR: an Extra of an amber topaz, very shiny with a soft golden transparency. Minimal coloring so that from one blend to another the color is constant and not to obscure the Cognac. A very old Pale & Dry, combining finesse and elegance, lightness and intensity, liveliness and tenderness. Perfectly balanced. No addition of "woody". Power and length of the aromas on the nose, freshness and lightness rarely found in old Cognacs as they are often encumbered by the strong tannin of the wood. Softness and roundness on the palate, rich fruit when fully ripe. Endless presence finely liquorice. Complexity, subtlety, delicacy and length of the aromas.
