Tasting Notes

Nose: Initially closed, with subtle fruity tones that gradually reveal themselves. Hints of apple and apricot mingle with moderate wood tones and a delicate hint of glue, evoking the Irish character typical of Bushmills.

Taste: The palate is robust and rich in flavor, featuring a blend of fruitiness, nuttiness, and pronounced vanilla notes. Despite the presence of vanilla, bitterness masks some of the smoother fruit characteristics. Adding water softens the bitterness and enhances the sweetness of vanilla, yet the whiskey remains somewhat harsh and restrained.

Finish: The finish is medium-long, evolving from initial fruity notes to a dry but pleasant barley finish. However, bitterness and a less expressive quality linger in the aftertaste.
