Distilled in 1976 and nurtured for decades, Master Blender Michael Henry carefully selected a handful of exceptional casks and granted them a final six-month finishing period in first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads. The result is a whisky of profound elegance—delicately floral yet richly layered, with the silken texture for which Littlemill is renowned.

To commemorate the milestone, Littlemill partnered with acclaimed Austrian photographer Stefan Sappert, whose Victorian-era photographic artistry inspired the remarkable presentation. Each decanter—mouth-blown by Glencairn Craftsmen—and each of the 250 individually signed silver-on-black glass plate photographs are unique, capturing both the soul of the distillery and the timeless craft it represents. Tasting Notes

Color: Deep antique gold with amber depth.

Nose: Elegant yet deeply expressive. Honeysuckle, elderflower, chamomile and vanilla cream introduce Littlemill’s refined floral DNA, supported by grapefruit peel, lemon zest and orchard fruits. Layers of butterscotch, marzipan, toffee, almond paste and warm oak spices swell beneath, creating exceptional aromatic depth.

Palate: Silk-like, luxurious and beautifully balanced. Crème caramel, Chantilly cream and Werther’s-style toffee glide across the palate, enriched by lime-forward citrus, tart green apple, pear and subtle stone fruits. Sweetness meets sophistication with French pastry richness, honeyed grain, vanilla, nutmeg, and gentle Oloroso warmth. Despite its age, the oak remains graceful and never overpowering.

Finish: Exceptionally long and composed. Warming waves of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg unfold slowly, joined by apple tart, soft oak, subtle sherry nuttiness and lingering creamy sweetness. A finish of great poise and emotional resonance—decades of maturation expressed with perfect restraint.
