The name "Piedra Azul" pays homage to the revered gemstone, Turquoise, which held significant meaning for ancient Mexican ancestors, symbolizing power, luck, and protection. Piedra Azul Reposado undergoes a meticulous aging process in oak barrels for four months, resulting in a tequila that beautifully balances light, sweet notes of vanilla with crisp citrus and a smooth, clean finish. It is a delight to sip on its own and also lends its flavorful character to premium cocktails. The distillery, La Madrileña, founded in 1911, upholds Mexican tradition and takes immense pride in the exceptional quality of its tequilas.
