Tullibardine Scotch Whisky 15-Year-Old is a testament to Scotland's rich brewing and distilling history. Situated in Blackford, known as the gateway to the Highlands, Tullibardine is one of the oldest brewers and distillers in the country. This distillery has witnessed remarkable moments, from a royal purchase in 1488 to the reception of the first Royal Charter issued by King James 4th in 1503, recognizing the excellence of beer production at Tullibardine.

The distillery's location is marked by the presence of abundant fresh spring water sourced from the surrounding Ochil Hills, renowned for their geological history, including basalt and red sandstone layers. This pristine water, after a 15-year natural filtration process, emerges from the Danny Burn spring, the very source from which Tullibardine draws its water. Remarkably, this same water is bottled by the renowned mineral water company, Highland Spring.

In 1947, the transformational journey of Tullibardine began under the guidance of William Delme Evans. He initiated the conversion of the original brewery buildings into a fully functional distillery. Two years later, in 1949, the distillery produced its inaugural spirit. The name "Tullibardine," of Gaelic origin, translates to "lookout hill," a reference to a small medieval chapel constructed in 1446, a historical landmark located near the distillery grounds.

In November 2011, a significant new chapter began for Tullibardine when the distillery was acquired by an independent family company already deeply involved in the whisky industry. This transition secured the future of Tullibardine, preserving its tradition of excellence and craftsmanship.
