Augusto begins in the highlands of Jalisco, where Blue Weber agave is grown for a minimum of seven years before harvest. Distilled under maestro tequileros at Tequila Tres Mujeres in Amatitán, the tequila is then rested exclusively in Spanish sherry casks — certified organic Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez barrels from the legendary González Byass bodega, handcrafted by Tonelería Juan Pino. No additives, no shortcuts: every shade of Augusto's deep caramel colour comes from the cask.
The result sits somewhere between a fine reposado and a sherried single malt — floral on the nose, mouth-coating vanilla-touched agave on the palate, and a long, rich, woody finish. If you love sherry-cask whisky, this is the tequila built to convert you.
