Calvados

Calvados is apple brandy from Normandy, distilled from cider made with local apples (and some pears) and aged in oak. Bottles labeled Pays d'Auge are double distilled in pot stills for extra depth. This collection runs from bright, fresh VS and Fine expressions for cocktails to long-aged Hors d'Age bottlings for sipping, with names like Christian Drouin, Pere Magloire, Busnel, Daron and Lecompte.

How to enjoy Calvados

Sip aged Calvados neat after dinner, or use a younger bottle in a Jack Rose, a Calvados sour or an apple-forward twist on the Old Fashioned.
