Amaras Mezcal A. Cupreata Joven

Amaras Mezcal A. Cupreata Joven, crafted by Mezcal Amores (known as Amaras in the U.S.), is a testament to the brand's deep commitment to the environment and sustainable mezcal production. This artisanal mezcal is made from the rare and unique Agave Cupreata, a species indigenous to the rugged terrains of Mexico. It is a clear embodiment of the region's terroir, showcasing the harmony between nature and human craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes

Amaras Mezcal A. Cupreata Joven offers an enticing sensory experience that begins with the nose. As you lift the glass to your nostrils, you'll be greeted with an aromatic bouquet of smoky agave, roasted maguey, and hints of earthy minerals. Swirling it in your glass releases even more inviting scents, evoking memories of a desert landscape after a gentle rain.

Upon your first sip, the mezcal delivers a complex and layered flavor profile. The initial notes are dominated by the signature smokiness of mezcal, which mingles with the herbaceous, almost floral qualities of the Agave Cupreata. There's a pleasant sweetness reminiscent of roasted agave hearts and a subtle spiciness that lingers on the palate. The finish is long, leaving a smoky and peppery aftertaste that invites you to take another sip.
