Amor Mio Tequila Añejo
Amor Mio Tequila Añejo is produced at NOM 1466, the Tres Mujeres distillery in Los Valles, from 100% Blue Weber agave cooked in traditional brick ovens and crushed with a roller mill before double distillation. The añejo is aged 24 months across a combination of American and French oak, and the glass-line bottle arrives as a hand-painted, blown-glass piece that sets it apart from the brand's ceramic Mission bottle.
The extended oak aging shows in a transparent gold liquid flecked with copper sparkles. The nose leads with vanilla, cinnamon, prune, and hazelnut set against a base of wood, while the palate carries cooked agave through the same vanilla, cinnamon, prune, and hazelnut notes with a rounding touch of oak. The finish is long and sweet, closing in an after-dinner style.
