Ardbeg An Oa is a masterfully crafted single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary Ardbeg distillery on the Isle of Islay. Known for producing some of the most intensely peated whiskies in Scotland, Ardbeg’s An Oa offers a more rounded, complex, and slightly softer expression while still showcasing the distillery's signature smoky profile. Named after the Mull of Oa on Islay’s rugged coast, this whisky brings together sweetness, spice, and smoke, all balanced by time spent in a combination of cask types, including Pedro Ximénez, virgin oak, and ex-bourbon. Presented in an elegant gift box, Ardbeg An Oa makes for an exceptional gift for whisky lovers.

Aroma: The whisky presents a gentle and inviting aroma with hints of butterscotch, enticing the senses with its sweet and creamy notes. The silkiness of the whisky is apparent, evoking a sense of rich and velvety sweetness. The influence of new charred oak and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks adds depth and complexity to the bouquet.
Palate: On the palate, the whisky continues to delight with its soft and smooth character. The butterscotch notes are prominent, providing a luscious and sweet quality. The silkiness from the cask maturation enhances the overall texture. Subtle hints of clove and black pepper offer a delightful spiciness that complements the sweetness.
Finish: The finish is lingering and satisfying, with the sweetness of butterscotch and the rich silkiness carrying through to the end. The gentle spiciness, characterized by clove and black pepper, adds an additional layer of depth and contrast to the finish.
