The 2024 Special Release of Benrinnes 21-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky showcases the grandeur of cask-strength power with a “doubled” intensity of fruit flavors. Aged in American and European oak wine casks, this rare gem offers a rich, booming fruitiness unlike any other, enhanced by the double maturation process. Clocking in at 111 proof, this special release from one of Scotland's most intriguing, lesser-known distilleries is a true crescendo of flavor—intensely fruity, complex, and brimming with a sensory experience that will satisfy even the most discerning whisky enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A bold bouquet of overripe dark berries, stewed pears, and caramelized apples, layered with hints of honeyed figs and rich malt. A whisper of toasted oak and spice adds depth.

Palate: Opulent and mouth-coating, with a symphony of flavors—plump, overripe plums, crushed figs, and baked apples mingle with layers of toffee, warm spices, and a touch of dark chocolate. An earthy undertone complements the bold fruit, adding complexity.

Finish: Long, warm, and slightly drying with echoes of spiced fruit, a hint of oak, and a residual sweetness balanced by a gentle tannic edge.
