Tasting Notes

Nose: Upon first inhale, Blue Run Reflection II introduces a bright bouquet of warm spices and rich cocoa, drawing you into its layered complexity. There’s a gentle sweetness from buttered pancakes and maple syrup, alongside the inviting fragrance of raspberry preserves and a subtle hint of dried herbs.

Palate: The first sip reveals a delightful burst of orange peel, harmonizing beautifully with farm-fresh honey. This is followed by fresh toasted oak and salted caramel blondies, providing a smooth and flavorful progression. As the mid-palate unfolds, the richness of these flavors balances with the lightness of cooked berries, cinnamon, and a touch of integrated oak.

Finish: The finish is complex and evolving, beginning with spicy citrus oils that smoothly transition into barrel spice and the indulgent sweetness of churros sprinkled with powdered sugar. A dash of cayenne adds an intriguing kick, elevating the experience with a slightly warming sensation. The finish is mid-length, creamy, and satisfying.
