Tasting Notes

Appearance: Blue Spot 7 Year Old Cask Strength Irish Whiskey boasts a radiant, golden hue that shimmers invitingly in the glass.
Nose: The nose is a delightful bouquet of aromas, beginning with a delicate mix of tropical fruits. You'll be greeted by the sweet, juicy notes of pineapple and kiwi, followed by the fresh, green essence of banana. Lime zest adds a zesty and citrusy brightness, creating a vibrant and inviting aroma.
Palate: The initial sip offers a burst of Pot Still spices that awaken the palate with a warm and peppery kick. As the flavors develop, baked apple emerges, lending a sweet and comforting touch. The influence of hazelnut adds a creamy, nutty richness that complements the fruitiness beautifully. Toasted wood undertones provide a subtle earthy depth that rounds out the palate.
Finish: The finish is long-lasting and complex, with a lingering warmth from the cask strength character. The fruitiness gently fades into a satisfying, spicy conclusion that leaves you with a sense of depth and character.
