Crafted in the shadow of the majestic Andes Mountains, Bodega Séptima Gran Reserva 2017 is an elegant expression of Mendoza’s terroir. Sourced from estate vineyards in Agrelo, this bold red blend showcases the artistry of Argentina’s winemaking tradition. A harmonious union of Malbec (62%), Cabernet Sauvignon (22%), and Tannat (16%), this Gran Reserva is aged in oak to reveal depth, structure, and finesse.

The winery itself is a visual and cultural marvel—built using ancient Huarpe dry-stone techniques and surrounded by over 150 hectares of sustainably cultivated vineyards. With a deep respect for the land and local heritage, Bodega Séptima creates wines that resonate with authenticity and bold character.

Tasting Notes

Color: Deep garnet with violet reflections

Aroma: Complex bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, such as raspberries, black cherries, and plums, intertwined with sweet spices, vanilla, and hints of roasted coffee

Palate: Smooth and layered, delivering red fruit jam, toasted oak, and a touch of dark chocolate. The silky tannins provide structure without aggression, while the Cabernet adds backbone and the Tannat a subtle grip.

Finish: Long and elegant, marked by a balanced integration of oak and fruit, leaving notes of spice, balsamic, and earth lingering on the palate.
