Brothers of the Leaf Blended Straight Whiskey Finished in Toasted White Oak Casks showcases a masterful blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Indiana Straight Rye Whiskey, unified and elevated through a secondary rest in custom-toasted American white oak barrels. Each cask is tailored to a specific toast profile to draw out deep, rich flavor while maintaining balance and complexity. The result is a powerful, full-bodied whiskey that bridges the sweet, full grain character of bourbon with the spicy, herbaceous edge of rye, then finishes with the warm signature of toasted oak.

At 112 proof, this expression delivers a bold yet approachable experience, perfect for slow sipping or refined mixing.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
Rich amber with golden hues and slow-forming legs—indicative of its weight and viscosity.

Nose (Aroma):
Sweet and spicy in harmony. Notes of honey-drizzled grain, caramelized pear, and vanilla bean are joined by hints of toasted clove, leather, and a faint herbal brightness from the rye.

Palate (Taste):
The bourbon base offers dark caramel, brown sugar, and baked cornbread, while the rye provides a layer of cracked black pepper, spearmint, and toasted spice. The toasted white oak finish introduces flavors of toffee, baking spice, light smoke, and charred marshmallow, adding warmth and texture.

Finish:
Long and expressive. Flavors of roasted oak, warm cinnamon, and vanilla fudge slowly taper into a dry, slightly spicy finish that invites another sip.
