Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM Small Batch Reposado is produced at NOM 1438, Destiladora del Valle de Tequila in Tequila, Jalisco, from stone-oven cooked agave. The reposado is rested in whiskey barrels for approximately eight months, a finishing choice that sets it apart from standard reposado aging and lends the spirit its distinct character. Each bottle comes in clear embossed glass with a gold neck and a numbered lot, marking it as a small-batch release rather than a mass-market pour.
The nose opens with cooked agave, fresh herbs, vanilla, and a touch of light citrus. On the palate, apple and citrus notes meet buttery agave and oak, layered with cinnamon, anise, and gentle wood spice from the barrel rest. The finish is smooth, warm, and balanced, reflecting the influence of the whiskey barrel aging throughout.
