Compass Box Delos Blended Scotch Whiskey

Nose: The nose is an inviting bouquet of sweet pears, zesty orange oil, and ripe pineapple, all underpinned by a creamy vanilla note. These aromas are complemented by a medley of white chocolate, fruit tarts, heather honey, and a subtle hint of guava. Chai spices add a layer of complexity, creating a fragrant and alluring introduction.

Palate: On the palate, Delos reveals a delightful sweetness and a gentle spiciness. Rich vanilla cream melds with a composite of fruits, including pineapple, nectarine, and passion fruit. White pepper and white chocolate enhance the complexity, while nutmeg and cinnamon provide a nuanced spiciness. The fruitiness and sweetness are balanced by a subtle warmth and spice.

Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, marked by a hint of bitterness from licorice that promotes salivation. White chocolate and vanilla linger delicately, accompanied by a touch of white pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom. A faint citrus note and orange peel round off the experience, leaving a refined and enduring impression.
