Presented in the brand's signature purple and blue label colorway with a steer-skull medallion, this expression carries a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, and was released in October 2024 at an MSRP of $400.
Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration, this bourbon opens with caramelized apple and maraschino cherry, layered with clove, nutmeg, and roasted pecans. On the palate it is velvety, with the same caramelized apple and cherry sweetness up front giving way to warming baking spice and deep vanilla, balanced by a savory pecan nuttiness. The finish is long and refined, carrying caramelized apple sweetness alongside roasted pecan through to the end.
