DOC Swinson’s Exploratory Cask “El Cuerpo” Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks is a rare and intensely expressive release that highlights the transformative power of exceptional cask finishing. Crafted by DOC Swinson’s, this limited-edition bourbon is finished in hand-selected Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry barrels sourced from Spain — casks that previously aged rich sherry for over two decades.
Named “El Cuerpo” — meaning “The Body” — this expression emphasizes depth, texture, and richness. Bottled at cask strength and produced in an extremely limited run of just 273 bottles, it offers a bold and unfiltered glimpse into one of the finest components of their blending program. The PX cask influence imparts luxurious layers of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice, creating a powerful yet refined bourbon experience.
