Crafted by DOC Swinson's under the direction of Master Blender Jesse Parker, this release explores the rare and distinctive character of Pacific Northwest Garryana oak (Quercus garryana).
Native to the region stretching from Northern California to Southern British Columbia, Garryana oak is notoriously difficult to cooper, making it one of the rarest woods used in whiskey maturation. This unique finishing process transforms classic bourbon notes into deeper, richer flavors, combining the structure of French oak with the boldness of American oak. The result is a complex, savory-sweet bourbon with layers of smoke, spice, and dark sweetness rarely found in traditional expressions.
