Dos Artes' Día de Muertos release: a 28-month double-barrel añejo inside a hand-painted ceramic calavera, one liter, no two skulls alike.

Dos Artes Calavera Doble Barrica 28 is distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands around Arandas, Jalisco, and aged 28 months across two barrels: first American oak, which lays down vanilla, caramel and toasted sweetness, then French oak, which adds dried fruit, baking spice and a drier, structured backbone. Twenty-eight months puts it deep into añejo territory without crossing into extra añejo, so the roasted agave still shows through the caramel, dried fig and cocoa, with a long, rounded oak finish at 40% ABV. The decanter is sculpted and painted by hand as a Day of the Dead skull, a sugar-skull face on the front and floral filigree on the back, so every bottle is a one-of-one piece.
