Eagle Rare's single-barrel bourbon at ten and twelve years — the everyday allocated favorite next to the older, deeper release that rarely leaves the distillery gift shop.

Two years of oak, side by side.

Tasting Notes

Color: The 10 Year is bright amber; the 12 Year is deep copper.

Nose: 10 Year: toffee, orange peel, honey and light oak. 12 Year: dark caramel, leather, dried fruit and more oak.

Palate: Eagle Rare 10 is the classic, soft and sweet with a gentle oak backbone. The 12 Year adds two more years in the rickhouse: richer, darker and drier, with more tannin and spice.

Finish: Medium and smooth on the 10, long and oaky on the 12.
