This is a 20-year-old Kentucky bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, made from a corn-dominant mash bill, aged in new charred oak and presented in a hand-blown crystal decanter. Two decades in wood show in the glass: antique oak, dark caramel, vanilla bean and dried fruit on the nose, then a rich palate of molasses, cherry, leather, cocoa and warm spice, closing long on oak, tobacco and a refined sweetness.
