Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon Cask Strength, known as Farm Strength Uncut, is a remarkable expression of American bourbon whiskey. This exceptional bourbon is bottled at its natural barrel strength, undiluted and unfiltered, ensuring a full-bodied, intense flavor experience. The distillers at Frey Ranch meticulously craft this spirit using a four-grain mash bill, which consists of grains grown right on the Frey Ranch estate. This farm-to-bottle approach allows the distillery to have complete control over the quality of the grains used in the production of this remarkable bourbon.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: The bourbon pours with a rich, deep amber hue, promising a whiskey of substantial character and complexity.
Aroma: The nose is greeted by a symphony of inviting scents. Notes of toasted oak, caramel, and vanilla emerge as the bourbon breathes. Underlying these classic bourbon aromas, you'll detect hints of butterscotch and sweet corn, reminiscent of the farm's own grains.
Palate: As you take your first sip, the robust nature of the cask strength bourbon becomes immediately apparent. The palate is a harmonious blend of flavors. Rich and warming, it offers layers of caramel, toffee, and dark chocolate. The influence of toasted oak from the barrel aging process provides depth and complexity to the bourbon. Hints of baking spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, add a delightful touch of warmth and complexity.
Finish: The finish is long, with a gentle, lingering heat that allows the bourbon's flavors to evolve on the palate. Caramel and vanilla continue to shine, along with the sweet, grainy character of the farm-grown corn. The finish is a testament to the bourbon's quality and balance.
