Fully Cocked Rooster is an American bourbon whiskey distilled in Indiana and bottled in a hand-painted ceramic rooster decanter, packaged in a kraft farm-scene gift box that plays up the novelty vessel as much as the whiskey inside. The bourbon is aged a minimum of two years before bottling at 80 proof, and the decanter format makes it as much a display piece as a pour.
Expect an amber-hued bourbon with warm caramel over toasted oak on the nose, layered with light vanilla and a hint of cocoa-nut. On the palate it brings brown sugar, corn sweetness, baking spice, and toffee, finishing long and smooth with warming caramel, oak spice, and soft nutty notes.
