G4's original blanco, revisited: 90% classic G4 with 10% fiber-fermented tequila.
Felipe Camarena makes Blanco Clásico at El Pandillo in the Jalisco Highlands from eight-year-old Blue Weber agave, stone-oven cooked, tahona crushed, open-air fermented and double distilled in copper with a 50/50 mix of spring water and rainwater. The fiber-fermented portion adds texture and vegetal depth to the cooked agave, citrus, herbs and minerality. Additive-free, 40% ABV, under a replica of G4's original 2012 label in a limited run of 2,016 cases.
