Garrison Brothers Barrel Proof Bourbon Whiskey is a testament to the individuality and uniqueness of each barrel in the aging process. Whether you're savoring the Cask Strength expression or the 94-proof variant, you're in for a journey of discovery. Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first legal bourbon distillery in Texas, has harnessed the dynamic interplay between American white oak barrels, the scorching Texas climate, and the whiskey inside each barrel to create a bourbon that showcases the distinct character of every barrel. Each barrel of Garrison Brothers Single Barrel has patiently aged for a minimum of three years under the relentless Texas sun, resulting in a whiskey that captures a one-of-a-kind set of notes and flavors from the new American White Oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Garrison Brothers Barrel Proof Bourbon Whiskey offers a tasting experience that celebrates the diversity of each barrel's journey:

Upon pouring, it reveals a rich amber hue, reflecting the influence of the Texas climate and oak aging. The aroma is a captivating blend of caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, with nuances of dried fruits and spices. As you take your first sip, you'll encounter a palate that is as diverse as it is bold. Flavors of caramel, honey, and dark chocolate intermingle with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper, creating a complex and multifaceted sweetness. The oak aging contributes layers of vanilla and smokiness, adding depth to the whiskey's character. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and satisfying, leading to a finish that is as unique as the barrel itself, lingering with a symphony of flavors.
