Guerrero del Sol Tequila Anejo
Guerrero del Sol Tequila Añejo is a small-production, ultra-premium añejo crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, distilled under NOM 1479 at Compañía Tequilera Hacienda La Capilla in Jalisco's Los Altos region and aged over a year in oak barrels. The name and packaging draw on the imagery of the Aztec Eagle Warriors, the Cuāuhtli, carried through codex-style label art and a sculpted glass decanter topped with an eagle-warrior head, presented in a fitted gift box.
The añejo aging brings a deep amber color and a nose of ripe cooked agave, old-wood creaminess, tobacco, caramel, dried fruit, and baking spice. On the palate it is smooth and full-bodied, layering butterscotch, cinnamon, dark chocolate, ripe fig, caramelized vanilla, and white chocolate over an earthy agave core, with a long, warm finish of spice, oak, and sweet agave.
The sculpted decanter and codex-inspired packaging make this a standout addition to a tequila collection or a distinctive gift for an agave enthusiast.
