Hard Cut Potato Vodka

Hard Cut Vodka is the American potato vodka created by actor and trained chemical engineer Dolph Lundgren, who set out to make a vodka smooth enough to sip on the rocks. It is distilled in Idaho from Idaho Russet potatoes and Rocky Mountain water, fermented for five days rather than the usual one or two, and cut to keep only the heart of each run before reverse-osmosis and fine filtration. It is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).

The potato base gives it a creamy, rounded mouthfeel with a slightly nutty character, light notes of apple and white pepper and a gentle earthiness, finishing smooth and clean for a vodka at 90 proof. It has taken Platinum at the 2025 L.A. Spirits Awards, Double Gold at the 2024 World Spirits Competition and Best of Class at the 2025 International Spirits Competition.
