Highland Park 17 Year Old Between You & I is a limited Orkney single malt created with New York artist Laila Gohar, the second release in Highland Park's Between You & I series about how flavor sparks personal memory. Master Whisky Maker Marc Watson sampled more than 80 casks for it. The whisky spent 11 years in refill casks before finishing in highly active, unseasoned American oak, and is bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof).
The box calls it Bright & Fruity, and the new oak shows: orange blossom, rich honey and creamy vanilla on the nose, a full, silky palate of vibrant fruit, baking spice and honeyed malt, and Highland Park's signature thread of aromatic Orkney peat smoke through a long finish of orange, oak spice and leather.
Highland Park has distilled in Kirkwall on Orkney since 1798. A 17 year age statement, a gift-ready Laila Gohar box and limited availability make this a natural gift for a single malt drinker or a fresh bottle for a Highland Park shelf. 750ml.
