Made at Midleton Distillery and bottled at 40% ABV, it leans toward the dessert shelf on the nose, with toffee fudge, vanilla and hazelnut chocolate. Sweet pear and green apple lift things before chestnut wood, dark chocolate and toasted almond build in. The palate is creamy and textured, with gentle wood spice and mild oak arriving slowly, and the finish fades warm and balanced on oak and chestnut.
