Jameson Distiller's Batch is the newest addition to the Jameson Reserve Series, and it marks a notable shift for the Dublin distillery: this is a single pot still Irish whiskey, not a blend. Hand selected by the Jameson distillery team from five different types of oak casks, it was built to showcase the spicy, full-bodied character that single pot still whiskey is prized for, while keeping the triple-distilled smoothness the Jameson name is built on.

Single pot still is the style that made Irish whiskey famous — distilled from a mash of both malted and unmalted barley in traditional copper pot stills, giving the whiskey a creamy weight and a signature pepper-and-spice bite that column-distilled grain whiskey simply cannot produce. Jameson has triple distilled at Midleton since John Jameson founded the distillery in 1780, and Distiller's Batch applies that house technique to a pot still mash bill, then rounds it out across five oak cask types for layered complexity.

Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) — a meaningful step up from standard Jameson — it pours with an inviting depth. Expect orchard fruit, vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, a palate of baking spice, honeyed malt and creamy pot still texture, and a long, warming finish with lingering clove and oak.
