Johnnie Walker Black Cask Blended Scotch Whisky is a new expression inspired by the iconic Black Label and reimagined through exclusive maturation in American bourbon casks. Crafted by Master Blender Emma Walker — only the seventh person to hold the title in the blend's 200-plus-year history — Black Cask amplifies the signature smoothness of Black Label while adding deeper, sweeter layers drawn from American oak.

The exclusive bourbon-cask maturation gives Black Cask a distinctly rounded profile: vanilla, honey, and caramelised sugar on the nose; a palate of toasted oak, soft cinnamon spice, orchard fruit, and a creamy sweetness that coats the palate; and a long, mellow finish with a gentle touch of smoke from the signature Johnnie Walker peated malts. It reads as a Johnnie Walker blend first and an American-oak-influenced whisky second — the bourbon-cask influence is present but never dominant.

Johnnie Walker has been blending Scotch since 1820, and the Black expressions sit as the benchmark middle-tier of the range.
