Crafted by Kaiyo Whisky, this release is matured for six years in rare Mizunara oak casks before being finished for an additional two years in select Rhum J.M agricole rum barrels.
This dual maturation creates a beautifully layered whiskey that balances the signature sandalwood and coconut notes of Mizunara oak with the bright, tropical sweetness of rum casks. Enhanced by Kaiyo’s signature ocean maturation, The Ramu develops a dynamic and evolving character shaped by time, wood, and sea. Awarded 92 points by Whisky Advocate and released in limited quantities, this expression is both collectible and distinctive.
