Handmade oak barrels, intricate distillation methods, and more than 18 years of careful aging come together to create a luxurious brandy meant to be sipped slowly and savored.

Produced from French Colombard wine grown in California’s Russian River Valley, Korbel 18 is distinguished by its dual distillation approach. Approximately one third of the blend is distilled in traditional Alambic pot stills—an artisanal method used for centuries in the production of fine Cognac—while the remaining two thirds are distilled in copper-lined continuous column stills. This marriage of time-honored technique and modern precision results in exceptional depth and balance.

Aged in 60-gallon French oak barrels previously used to ferment Chardonnay, the brandy develops remarkable subtlety and complexity. Rich vanilla and butterscotch from the oak-aged Alambic distillate harmonize with the lively fruit and gentle spice of the column-distilled brandy, creating a refined, layered expression that defines true American luxury brandy.
