Laws Bourbon Cask Strength is a Colorado bourbon from Laws Whiskey House, made from all four American mother grains: corn, wheat, barley and rye. Four-grain bourbons are uncommon because they are difficult to make. It is aged over three years in new charred oak barrels and bottled at cask strength.
Expect caramel and vanilla on the nose with toasted oak and baking spice. The palate leans into brown sugar, rye spice and charred oak, followed by a long, warming finish.
A good pick for bourbon fans who want to explore a multi-grain mash bill at full barrel proof, best sipped neat or with a few drops of water.
