A remarkable milestone in the history of Loch Lomond, this 54 Year Old Single Malt stands as the distillery’s oldest and one of its rarest releases to date. Distilled in 1967—just a year after Loch Lomond’s pioneering straight neck stills began production—it captures a defining era in the distillery’s story. Crafted from unpeated malted barley and collected at high strength, the spirit first rested in a refill American oak hogshead before being re-casked into a refill European oak sherry hogshead in 1994.
Over five decades of patient maturation have shaped a whisky of profound elegance, refined richness, and remarkable composure. Non chill-filtered and natural in color, this release expresses both heritage and innovation in perfect harmony—an extraordinary presentation of Loch Lomond’s signature style at its most majestic.
