Loco Tequila Reposado Ambar is the rested expression from Loco Tequila, a luxury Mexican house distilling in Jalisco, Mexico. Ambar takes the brand's blue agave spirit and rests it in oak barrels, where the liquid picks up the amber hue that gives the expression its name and a layer of barrel character over the agave at its core.
The time in wood rounds the bright pepper and citrus of unaged agave into something deeper. Cooked agave and honey arrive first, followed by vanilla bean, caramel, and soft baking spice, with a vegetal freshness still running underneath. It carries the weight of a true sipping tequila and closes on toasted oak and gentle white pepper.
