Lost Lore Tequila Blanco is a Highland expression rooted in family legacy. Arturo Lamas III founded the brand to revive the agave-spirit craft of his great-grandfather, producing at NOM 1414 — Viva Mexico Vivanco distillery — in Los Altos, Jalisco, under Master Distiller Sergio Cruz. Blue Weber agave grown in the mineral-rich red-clay Highlands is slow-cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, fermented with champagne yeast in stainless steel tanks, and double-distilled in copper pot stills with zero additives.
The Blanco opens with warm cooked agave and bright fresh citrus on the nose, with subtle herbal undertones from the Highlands terroir. The palate delivers sweet roasted agave, lemon zest, and a pronounced cracked-black-pepper note. The finish is clean and distinctly peppery, a hallmark of Los Altos agave and copper-pot distillation.
