Tasting Notes

Color: Marq De Montesquiou Armagnac Extra exhibits a deep, rich amber hue that glistens in the glass, hinting at its long and patient aging process.
Nose: The aroma is a harmonious blend of dried fruits, including figs and dates, coupled with subtle hints of toasted oak and vanilla. Layers of complexity emerge with notes of orange peel, leather, and a touch of tobacco, making for an enticing and sophisticated bouquet.
Palate: On the palate, this Armagnac is incredibly smooth and velvety. The dried fruits persist, now joined by a medley of spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, which add depth and warmth. The oak influence becomes more pronounced, offering flavors of caramel, toffee, and a delicate touch of roasted almonds. There is an underlying earthiness that gives the spirit a well-rounded character.
Finish: The finish is remarkably long and graceful, leaving an impression of honeyed sweetness, combined with a gentle, warming embrace. It gradually fades with lingering hints of dark chocolate and a whisper of floral notes.
