Metaxa Ouza 80 is a Greek ouzo from Metaxa, the Greek house that has been making spirits since 1888. It is an anise-flavored liqueur made in the traditional ouzo style.

The aroma is led by anise, with fennel, licorice and aromatic herbs and spices behind it. Served crystal clear, it turns milky white when water is added, the classic louche of a good ouzo.

It is traditionally enjoyed with ice or cold water alongside a spread of Greek meze.
