Tasting Notes

The tasting experience of Mossburn Blended Malt Scotch Island is a journey of intricate flavors and aromas:

Signature Island Smoke and Spice: As you bring the glass to your nose, the unmistakable signature Island smoke and spice immediately make their presence known. However, this is a more alluring and subtle variation, characterized by clove and pot-pourri spices rather than the medicinal coastal woodsmoke.
Intriguing Oak Influence: The flavor profile reveals the influence of oak, with hints of tannin and spices emerging at the initial taste. These elements mellow as you continue to explore the whisky, giving way to heathery dried fruit notes and a peppery character that becomes more pronounced later in the tasting.
Long and Fiery Finish: The whisky leaves a lasting impression with its long finish. Towards the close, you'll detect a touch of dry, fiery kick, which adds an exciting and memorable final note to the tasting experience.
