Mount Gay Aged Rum Master Blender Collection – The Cognac Cask Expression is a rare and refined limited release that celebrates the art of tropical aging and cask influence. Selected by Mount Gay Master Blender Trudiann Branker as the eighth expression in the esteemed Master Blender Collection, this release highlights rum aged entirely in casks that previously held cognac.
The interaction between French oak and Barbados-aged rum creates a spirit of remarkable depth and sophistication. Enhanced by the island’s tropical climate, the rum develops a fruit-forward richness layered with warm spice, sweetness, and structure. The result is a rich and opulent expression that bridges the traditions of fine rum and cognac, offering a luxurious sipping experience—and made even more special by the possibility that this release marks the final chapter of the collection as we know it.
